I did this by rendering the text to a separate texture via a second camera, applying a very simple sharpening shader to that texture, then pasting the result over the main game view.

An interesting #GameDev problem I solved today, thought I'd share!
I'm making a 3D game with pixel graphics, done by downscaling then upscaling the camera output. The problem is, text & UI tend to become blurry and look bad because of this. So I made a shader to sharpen only the text! (1/2)
