The UCP and CPC are bad for Canada and Alberta.
The concerns Albertans are supposed to have been manufactured by the UCP and Postmedia. Equalization? Alberta Police Force? Feds thwarting our manifest destiny as a responsible oil producer? Most laughable- our culture?

The approved question can be used by both sides. Why doesn’t Smith like it ? She wants a) to continue to fight with the federal government because everything else she fails miserably. b) She wants states rights not independence.

I am suggesting that the base of the UCP are not on average university graduates.
January 3, 2025 at 3:50 PM
I am iguessing that DEI policies are not preventing UCP members from getting a university professorships.

Unfortunately in Alberta Canada the goal is to burn more natural gas and ignore green technology prosperity.

Ideally Dr. Tombe has the means and ways to apply his methodology to all jurisdictions. A good starting point.

Start with percentage of pop except Quebec then make the adjustments. Just a rough guide.
December 21, 2024 at 5:28 PM
It is not enough to just say Alberta’s share is x . The same methodology has to be applied to all provinces. Average age vs mean and average household income over mean (excluding Quebec) is a rough but meaningful number to see we stand.

Never vote UCP.

Good work here . I wonder if it was bipartisan?
December 6, 2024 at 7:39 PM
In Alberta, we say that fire engine must have a long cord.

You are free to buy a cheaper or more expensive sauce. We have be more price sensitive when we buy. The issue is more for brand items where there is not a lot of competition.

Did Alberta step in with donuts and handshakes?
November 29, 2024 at 7:00 AM
Not quite true. No UPC MLA is competent. Seriously, it is a wasteland.

Canada, outside of Quebec, will probably not support climate change programs that are different than the USA. We are lemmings wearing love oil and gas tee shirts.
November 28, 2024 at 4:14 PM
Maybe a dumb idea but back when I was young the Federal govt would strike a Royal Commission to bring forth new policies in perhaps a bipartisan way.
November 23, 2024 at 1:23 AM
Ok I will not read David Staples.
November 22, 2024 at 4:11 PM
Alberta would join the USA before reducing production.
November 20, 2024 at 3:47 PM
Alberta news columnists are embedded.

Not a brain but is a worm.

My apology
November 14, 2024 at 3:00 AM
X wants you back. It would be a homecoming.
November 14, 2024 at 2:51 AM
Sins of omission- Staples never admits to or deals with rampant Smith incompetence or Polievere ‘s security problems. Nothing about AMIC or skyboxes.
