Melbourne CBD is busy with people like that every Saturday and Sunday, with or without State Library demonstrations or Sporting events. Same with Public Transport usage. The ‘dead city’ myth is nothing more than progoganda.

Does this carefully worded Nigerian Foreign Ministry statement actually state that the Nigerian Government reqested or endorsed this air raid? It reads to me that the the Nigerian Government is actively distancing itself from the attack iself. Foolishly destabilising a distant country again?

I truly envy the ability of good political cartoonists (and you grace the topmost international tier) to distil complex issues and slay gross hypocrisies in a simple drawing with wit, compassion, and humanity. You make us laugh and think simultaneously. Rest up, and challenge us again in 2026.

So Bob Santamaria’s ghost is doing to the Libs what the original did to the ALP. Couldn’t be happier.

When you choose to vote below the line on the Senate paper, you must record a minimum of 12 preferences (1 to 12). You can easily lodge a valid ballot without preferencing any party or person you detest. Doing so also wrecks candidates’ dodgy preference deals.

Dear Mr ITY-2GB,
Is it really a clever idea to display your car registration number so prominently?

The missing escalator (and lift) is the Federation Square entrance. All the major entrance ones are in. Perhaps the bigger clue that things are approaching completion is the reduction of work shifts per week in various parts of the city stations, and the week long Easter holiday.

The Trump Cabinet have learnt a bitter lesson about using Signal. They’ve switched to discussing their Greenland invasion plans on WhatsApp.

There is a simple response to this:
“Dear Madam,
The questions that you have asked breech Australian State and Federal Antidiscrimination Laws. Therefore, we must decline politely to answer them.
Have a Nice Day,
XXX (He, His)”

Boosting my immunity against Covid and wilful ignorance later today. Antivaxxers beware: I'll be shedding on a train near you! (Just kidding cause it doesn't exist.)

Actually, they are all absurd questions that have no relevance for judging the merit of the research being conducted. Answering the questions about “DEI” and gender probably breech Australian State and Federal anti-discrimination laws.
