Same! But I also have this obsession with things breaking down & becoming something else. I always been fascinated how it all pretty much turns to dust eventually

actually to tell the truth I don’t really put sticks in my compost, I just think it’s interesting seeing them in other peoples finished composts as long as they’ve composted properly

Yeah I like them for a bit of texture in the final product but very decomposed, covered in microbes, broken into small pieces & all that but you have to be v mindful about how ‘stick-y‘ you let your pile get coz they totally take over aye

Yeah exactly! some people I know just chuck in massive hard pieces of wood & then just vaguely put it down to ‘compost takes a long time’ when nothing happens 😂

A compost heap with large branches heaped on top of each other can stay the same for years on end

Anyway when I think of human jobs of course the list is long and humans probably should do everything (it’s debatable) there are some job I believe machines can never ever replace: midwife, early childhood teacher, massage person, care worker (there’s def more but I dunno right now)

Like space shit, underwater things or like volcano stuff, cave stuff etcetc… rescue…. Etcetc things like that, basically going places we can’t go & doing stuff we can’t do, not fuckin folding laundry
