I'd take the Star Trek one, sounds cool. The problem with that stuff is we learn about society, but then we seem to forget. I was a bartender for 12 years and under that on my resume I put: A Bartender is a working class anthropologist. I've always been fascinated by people and culture.

Right, like, if you can display the Ten Commandments that opens the door to posting something Satanist, or Sharia law or whatever. I get it. But the evangelists still don't.

People want to bring a divisive world view into American politics. They want to divide us. It isn't gonna work. In the end it will fail. Because America is about tolerance. It's about accepting views different from your own.

Now people want to spin this around, and try and say America is a Christian country. That's not true, and screw anybody who thinks it is. It's secular country, and it always has been.

I hate it. CBS was the best, highest standard. 60 minutes was the pinnacle. We are left with pod-casters blabbing on about situations they have never travelled to, with no interviews or investigation to back up their stories. Journalism doesn't have to die to feed the modern world. We still need it.

I'm up for the hard liquor. They are taking 60 minutes from me, which has been my friend since I was small child. I gotta do a couple shots. At least I still have Frontline. But this is gonna be tough.

And as soon as you start focusing on the consumer, you are called a communist. Capitalists forget that one of the chief benefits of competition in a 'free market economy' is supposed to be competitive prices for consumers.
