I think for them it hinges on this idea of "purity"; that even a drop of non-white blood in someone's ancestry "taints" them.

Traders exist out in some small-town areas, but are not a significant population. Canadian populist nationalism exists, but is mostly anti-american, anti-trump.
Trudeau leaned too hard into his hype-cycle and crashed hard when the genuine scandals started piling up. No sabotage was really needed.

Obviously, he'll use this to exploit his fan base for financial gain. But there is also potential for foreign governments to use it as a way to directly bribe him in a way that will difficult to trace. I expect that to be the primary outcome of this.

I get the impression that there is a constant back and forth between top-down Control and bottom-up Populism; but off to the side is Capital, betting on both.

Dragon Age 2
The awkward middle child of the Dragon Age games, 2 was overhyped and underwhelming on release. But the gameplay holds up better than either Origins or Inquisition imo, and the relatively fast pacing makes it the most replayable.
