And yea, of course I feel for those people that actually use the pass to come and experience the park. But I really want them to get rid of the people who just use it as a hang out spot and take space away from others.

Way too many people just hanging out at tables in San Fransokyo for example. You might be thinking "well maybe they were just waiting for their food". Doubt it. Lots of people there when we arrived and still there when we left. Just playing on their phones, or worse card games.

Wolf coaster was ok. People I was at the park with didn't even notice the wolf in the ceiling it went by so fast. Spinning was ok. Overall short but enjoyable.

Over to Monsters. Unchained was fantastic. Love the load platform, the ride, that it has proper fire.

Didn't love that I didn't get to see the pre-show run. 4 rides across 2 days, 0 pre-shows. Even with no pre-show, ops couldn't move people on to the platform fast enough to fill every seat.

Donkey Kong. I love the idea of the ride. I love the kinetics of the land. The ride was ROUGH. And I don't just mean the ops, I mean the actual ride. For a brand new coaster, not great. Plus the illusion of jumping the rails looks great from the side... it's easy to miss on the ride itself.

Yoshi (which I thought I was going to love) is a complete and total waste of space. With individual lap bars and height restrictions it doesn't fit the "ride for everyone" bucket. But it's also very short and incredibly boring. Plus you get to bake in the sun / get rained on.

Over in Nintendo Mario Kart is exactly what it was in USH. A good ride in theory with tech that doesn't always keep up. Like in Hollywood tapping into get credit works some of the time, but not all. Like in Hollywood Ops can't keep the ride moving at the speed it's designed to.

I'll start off with the obvious, operations across the park just wasn't ready and still isn't ready. Even when they have the RVs they need, they don't have the speed to fill those seats and hit their dispatch intervals. That is made worse by some attractions STILL not having all RVs available.

When Crump says "read the instructions at Epic Universe, and did not ride roller-coasters that had restrictions applying to him" the piece on Tom's site doesn't even take the time to go.... but of course, back issues was on the sign.

Only problem is I've heard of those three.... this is the first I've heard of Impossible Creatures.

Am I the only one? Have I missed some giant cultural phenomena?

@troy I don't understand why it has to be one or the other.

Pirate night is a staple.
