Salmon tossing is back! NREP engaged hundreds of students in hands-on restoration work as they returned important marine-derived nutrients to the watershed. It may seem a little fishy a first, but check out the video to learn how tossing these carcasses helps create a healthy and thriving ecosystem!

Nisqually River Education Project staff recently finished our winter tree planting season with over 2000 trees, shrubs, and bushes planted by local 4th grade - college students in the Ohop Valley! Check out this video to learn more about these trips and the importance of youth outdoor education!
