Boring techie with boring opinions, two cute corgis and a lovely partner.

Yeah. We love ours, but I’m super picky about sofas. I love the depth and comfort of the sofa and the covers are super durable and easy to clean which is nice

Incidentally I guess this is Berkshires plan; let this play out and swoop in.

None of this is novel, but I feel like it’s not talked enough about.

Yeah. Nothing is ever perfect. Your inspiration is a flawed system and you’re trying to actively improve it.

As long as it’s better step by step I’ll be happy. Just don’t make it too boring plz.

Less affordable than the Bay Area? I’m very dubious of that idea. Not that it disproves the idea, Norcal has the same problems but even worse in many ways.

There are many amazing things here but housing policy is by far and away one of the worst. I’d say the recent changes are huge though

I adore those movies man

Not the author; but for me these have almost always been scale related. They’re usually some variant of poor behaviour under above peak serviceable load where the system effectively starts exhibiting cascading failures.

These are super difficult to recover from without some auto circuit breaker

Still love her anyway 😂
