Completely different scenario but I am in one fandom where a common “fanon” interpretation of some relationships (that of course is one guy with multiple friends in canon… with the newer one unhealthy) has cheating in it one way or another people also really hate that especially when someone

If you want to know how I engage with tweets like this it’s basically to rant or vent about fandom behavior you see and gets engaged with so regularly/largely and disagree with but as it’s assumed the average opinion that gets most engagement it’s feels like going against the crowd/unpopular

😂 it’s kind of my secret shame but yeah talking about it because of that… there is much judgement behind and many do use it for purely kinky reasons no judgement in that or to get that boy pregnant but the genre did grow more to it’s own thing with some fluff and “THEY ARE ALL BIG CATS” too

I think that appeals to many people fear and disconnect from their sexuality and wanting to give in or lose control. Much of sexuality isn’t logical and feels out of your control and omegaverse just BLOWS UP that need times 100 and embarrassing need for comfort or protection outside logical consent

Also what someone else said I think it’s not even the noncon aspect that’s appealing but truly a level of dubcon. Like everyones take on omegaverse is different but many have the omega/alpha part of them sort of seperated which creates a greyzone which is interesting to many

I rolled into it too and honestly omegaverse is very… everyone takes what they like from it. OP is one of the fandom who also like the pack dynamics implication and the communication without words by smell or by instinct much stuff is actually adorable even without pregnancy

I think with the Twink status… they could at one side casted someone with ballet background to have more the skinny strength but also like… as they are going for some stunts by actor that wouldn’t be realistic like not many strong people are built like that

Devils advocate as like… with the popularity of fanfiction there is a market for it. And I do think that people are reading it outside of the genre as I don’t think it’s being taken so seriously as by the people reading it they just want brain off fun that should exist 🤷🏼♀️
