Only thing I can think of is maybe a smart watch? I could be using my phone and my Fitbit will still buzz with email notifications/etc.

I feel like it's a privilege that I can choose not to perceive the news when I start to get overwhelmed but also like.. what am I even supposed to do. My state is the main reason we're in this mess, so my voice doesn't really hold weight here lol. I've been gaming & reading a lot more lately too!

Oddly enough 10 seconds after posting this it went back online for me LOL. Down Detector shows they've apparently been having issues all day tho, so not sure what's going on over there.

To be clear, I still want to stay informed on what's going on out there. It sucks eggs so hard, sure; but is very important to keep up to date. I just don't want it to literally be the only thing I'm seeing on all my socials all day y'know?

Deleting FB so I dont have to see family members/people I went to school with post their dogshit takes all day long was one of the best things Ive done in a while lol. Not that I want to be in an echo chamber, but you literally cannot reason w/ the right because of the glaring difference in morals 🤧
