Why should I deserve that? I am neither pro-Palestine nor pro-Israel. Both sides should stop the killing and lay down their weapons to find a peaceful solution to protect civilians.

For example, I watched a demonstrator call for the death of Israel and use a metal pipe to damage cars before he attacked an officer. Should the officers who told him to drop the pipe just stand down in front of someone like that?

There have already been several occasions where demonstrators who were armed were taken into custody. Should the police just let themselves be stabbed or be dominated by people throwing stones? This is often self-defense, and yes… some officers do go too far.

I could see the demonstration from my friend’s apartment, and the police only intervened against those who were being aggressive and attacking the officers. Unfortunately, the reports are being presented too one-sidedly, since many police reports haven’t been fully evaluated yet.

Pro-Palestine demonstrations aren’t well received in Germany because the demonstrators often carry weapons. I was visiting a friend on the day of the protest and was shocked to see that the police only targeted the aggressive participants. www.imago-images.de/offers/70033...

Are you seriously comparing stopping a violent demonstration to the concentration camps? I have to shake my head. Think before you post something. This report is disgustingly one-sided, only describing “the poor demonstrators.” Where does it mention that some of those arrested were carrying knives?

So much for “Germany is back.” The people at the pro-Palestine demonstration damaged cars and attacked others who spoke out against them. I was visiting a friend, and my car ended up with €2,000 worth of damage. No wonder the police stepped in the way they did.
