splatoon raiders announcement heading towards 1M views when it was shadow dropped and not included in any direct yet is kinda crazy… like these numbers and there’s probably still a bunch of Nintendo fans who don’t know it exists yet bc it’s not been in a direct 👀

This is so true. Everyone wants their vids to do well but that can’t be the only factor. I got this comment on a video that according to YouTube analytics performed badly but based on the comments, it was one of the most impactful vids I’ve made. Numbers are nice but you can’t let them be everything

Not to make this about Splatoon again (I’m doing it anyway 😅) but this really puts into perspective how big Splatoon is in Japan bc 782k is very strong for 3 days (MK8D did 284k) but then you remember Splatoon 3 did 3.45 MILLION in the same time frame 😭

I feel so hyped! I was in a bit of a slump with content and Mario Kart World had already helped get that spark back (video later 👀) and now a huge Splatoon 3 patch and Splatoon Raiders? We’re so back 🥹

I can back this up. I did a video on comp v casual splatoon a couple years ago & this was one of the most liked comments ⬇️ Most of my audience are casual players & while not everyone had an interest in playing competitively, lots were interested in watching comp but don’t know where to find it

Splatoon turns 10 next week, idk about 3rd kits but I can definitely see a world where these two are added to the game since they’re the only s1 stages that never got added to the switch in s2 or s3 (mario kart doesn’t count 😅)

if you’re in the uk or europe & use your switch a lot, check your emails to see if you’ve got an invite from Nintendo to pre order the switch 2 first! Check in your promotions tab if you use gmail as that’s where all my emails from nintendo go and I nearly missed it! 😅

it’s already out 💜 this is 100% designed for Nintendo to move away from using twitter btw, in case them pulling Twitter integration from the switch wasn’t obvious enough 👀 (also the whole direct is on there)

I don’t think we’re getting any content extension/3rd kit stuff in the direct, if anything it’ll just be splatfest. I think if (big IF) we’re getting a content extension they’ll announce separately & add it next season bc splatoon 1’s anniversary is a couple days before sizzle season starts 👀
