This week’s travel game is Big Hops. A beautiful 3D indie platformer that came out yesterday. Use your tongue to pick up items, swing across gaps or move objects. There are momentum moves like a roll and jump combo that feels real good. Climbing and collecting too! #NintendoSwitch2

This year’s first game is Cast n Chill. A fishing title where you travel to 13 different locations and catch creatures in approachable fashion. As you play, you unlock tools and experiment. There is an idle mode, if you need a break. Cast n Chill offers beautiful landscapes too! #NintendoSwitch2

And just like that, I am off from work for the next 2.5 weeks. The biggest order of business is that I will finally play Expedition 33. Otherwise, a bit more chilling and unwinding. Maybe I will talk more about games since there is room to think. The last two months have been a rollercoaster!

This week’s travel game is LOK Digital. It is an excellent puzzle game in which you have to string words together to solve a grid. Every word removes tiles in a different way, forcing you to think about the right solution. Super relaxing with nice music to boot! #NintendoSwitch2

This week’s travel game is the Simogo Legacy Collection. It bundles the early outings of this great indie developer and adds different ways of displaying the games, various control methods and some nice extras. Very impressed with how well it put together! #NintendoSwitch2

This week’s travel game is Pikmin 4. With the new update, I’ve been replaying the game from the beginning. The game remains the best. Lovely controls, Oatchi being the best boi and inviting level design. Gonna shoot pictures with the photo mode for sure! #NintendoSwitch2

Played Kirby Air Riders’ Road Trip mode on my train ride back from work. It is a lovely way to learn the mechanics and get unique challenges within three existing game modes. 50+ stages in, and I won’t stop soon! #NintendoSwitch2

This week’s travel game is Dicey Dungeons. This remains one I gravitate towards. A roguelike game with six characters that use their gear in unique ways. You have to use the turn-based system in clever ways to stay on top. Colorful and grand soundtrack! #NintendoSwitch2

This week’s travel game is Tiny Lands 2. A delightful sequel to a spot the difference type game where you explore dioramas. The sequel expands on the environments, adds a photo mode and has fantastic music to boot. Fantastic game to unwind with! #NintendoSwitch2

It took them five years, but the previous My Nintendo app has now gone live as the Nintendo Store app worldwide. Finally a way to judge my gaming habits without the Parental Controls hub.

This week’s travel game is Dragon Quest I & II. I’ve been loving the HD-2D Remake variants a ton. The added scenarios make the stories meatier, good rebalancing and added gameplay quirks. Sincerely the best way to experience these early RPGs. Just fantastic. #NintendoSwitch2
