Said job is in retail and is most likely NOT helping my issues.
But I have little options right now. So I'm officially opening commissions in the hope of aiding the cost of the care I need.
Seriously, the NHS is strained AF and physio care is poor as a result.

When the mer is relaxed, the fins are dormant. When they become defensive, a mer will bristle their spines and this primes them with venom. Upon contact with a target, the sheathe membrane is mechanically disrupted. This squeezes the storage gland and deposits the venom into the targets tissue.

Venom is produce in glands. Primary glands are along the spine and lead into the back fin. The virus replicates in the spine alongside the immune system and travels to the venom glands via capillaries. Secondary glands have the venom only.

The virus carries mer DNA inside of it. On the outside are Leukocytes unique to each sex. A single kind of virus cannot function alone, there must be two different kinds. They bind together and then proceed to replicate. The Cytotoxin aids in entering cells.
