So thanks to Tallinn Film Festival, I learn there is such at thing as yarsagumba "part insect, part plant"... adding documentary Goodbye Sisters to the watchlist... cinematography also looks cracking. #FilmSky

The power outages are so weird in Leith. Eg. Tonight our power we out and the flat above but the flat below was fine. Victorian circuitry! Current view not bad though..

Last night in Biarritz, which has been a bit of a mixed bag, largely due to being laid up with food poisoning for three days. But, off you're going to be laid up with food poisoning, there could be worse places than a room with this view

Sentimental Value - another catch-up title that's very good, especially about how difficult it is for adult children to stop attempting to navigate waters that are already under the bridge. So lovely to see a film that has really thought about it's supporting characters so well #73SSIFF

27 Nights/27 Noches - solid opener. Crowd-pleasing comedy drama about an 83-yr-old party girl whose daughters want to put her in an institution & the expert who has to decide if he agrees. Basically what you would expect, lifted by the fab Marilú Marini. Lower division than Calle Malaga #73SSIFF
