Whenever I've done a personal challenge, I like to add constraints. It helps me focus and less likely to be struck by decision paralysis. I wonder which colors will be used first on Monday?

Shout out to @monument-hobbies.bsky.social for having these paints as a part of tutorial on a skull for their "The Crone" texture trainer. Drab Brown ► Caramel Brown ► Bone.

Last week I started working on a software passion project. It's the first time I've written any code for the fun of it, and more importantly, for me. It has been an oddly enjoyable rollercoaster of "this is neat, this is garbage, this is neat again, this is garbage again".

I recently cleaned up my painting desk enough to actually get some painting done. Getting some skeleton layers done to decompress after pouring over job listing after job listing has been incredibly helpful.

I think I just filled out my most emotionally draining application. Trying my hand at the same place my late mother used to work. Definitely have mixed feelings on this one.
