Super happy about the special timed research to make up for the lack of spawns, as each time the Kanto fossils have been out I haven't been able to get a shiny Kabuto. Didn't do as well with the Omanyte part, but I actually caught one during the event, so I have the pair. #PokemonGO

Took me about 90 eggs, but I finally got the shiny. Going to trade it to Blue so it will have the GB icon *and* say it's from Kanto.

A shiny egg hatch on my lunch break at work, *and* a coworker brought in Pokémon Moon to trade me an Alolan Sandshrew egg. Today was definitely better than yesterday.

Bought a used copy of Ruby that still had Pokémon in the save file. Found this beauty in the boxes. Oh, and a Groudon, which is cool I guess. 🤣 Pardon the nasty dark line, new screen is on the way.

Just finished Pokémon Blue in Virtual Console. Now to do it again in Red and Yellow. Only need 3 legendaries and a couple of version exclusives and I have the 1st gen living dex complete.
