Here is to new beginnings. Just started toning a couple 16x20s with burnt sienna and soonish they will both hold a Quetzalcoatl each.

I took an oil painting class today and painted a fun little roadrunner. I decided to take this class because I need practice with feathers for a set of Quetzacoatl paintings coming up. Plus I like roadrunners.

I did a little oil painting the other day. The reference I used was from a trip up to the Carr House a couple months back.

Sold my first oil painting. It was a little 4x4 canvas that I painted at an open studio. The painter next to me asked to buy it. The paint was still wet. 😁

I was inspired by Sue

My students. They are all artists in their own right but wanted to learn digital illustration. We started with flowers. Special kudos go to Tim because he didn't have a stylus and he was finger painting on his tablet.

So tomorrow at the gallery I'm teaching a digital painting class that focuses on flowers. I came up with these little info cards, thoughts?

Today's to do list
1) wire all the art!
2) get card info sent in so my stuff can hang next month
3) prep for my class I'm teaching Sat that no one has signed up for but several have said they might come
4) grab the paintings i forgot at the art studio
5) maybe draw something?
