Too many people in the park, so I moved to a quieter spot in Mejiro Garden. It was seriously the best decision so far, also because it was free to enter.

Grateful for Kindle, the open internet, and Calibre—so many classics freely available and easy to convert. Now I get the best of both worlds: a physical copy to hold and a Kindle version for reading anywhere.

I can’t wait to dive in deeper. Oh, History has always been my favorite kind of adventure🥺

Tokyo’s weather has been all over the place, and autumn—just like last year—feels weirdly short and off. It’s summer and then boom, straight into winter. Last year we barely had any autumn, and I honestly have no idea what to expect this year 🥹😅

Indonesians speak thousands of dialects, but now people also use "Aunty," "Ounty," or a similar western-style term. In my hometown Ambon, we call them “Mama + their name”—which I prefer & this is what I tell my friends/relatives to teach their kids how to address me. I am no auntie. I am Mama Ni 😋
