The USA is already for months living under fascist rule which is per se corrupted and will become worse the longer it lasts. But there are still too many Americans that continue doing business as usual. Maybe all these horrors are indeed "usual" for them, living under brutal capitalism for years.

It seems to be that the Trump administration actually attempts to create a very large, very low class social level (Russian style), probably as cheap labor force with the least possible agency for his financiers. All the "accomplishments" of this regime are the evidence for this strategy.
