Bear Canyon Agate from the Pryor Mountains, Montana. The range from dud to stud inside these geodes really puts a wild card into play. This one has awesome banding. The area I’ve been finding them lately has had some incredible green fluorescence under short wave UV in the quartz pockets and bands.

Hi! I’m Jarred, an undergraduate in the Earth Sciences program at MSU Bozeman. I’m here to connect with authentic humans. We can/should create and learn together. About me: Officer of Bozeman Gem & Mineral Club as well as our Makerspace, and I’m a musician seeking a drummer for a simple/cover band.

Hi! This is Descloizite, Berg Aukas, Otavi Mountainland, Namibia.

This guy was probably dug between 1950's-1970's. I’m hoping to learn more about it and this locality while reading this paper - (Minerals of Berg Aukas, Otavi Mountainland, Namibia - Bruce Cairncross - 2021).

Always be learning!
