We captured brain activity with an MRI scanner in people who were about to receive rTMS for depression by doing their very first treatment inside the MRI Scanner! The way the brain reacted during that first time was linked to improvement full course of rTMS.

Does handedness matter when considering rTMS for depression? Prior research indicated that perhaps left-handed people might improve more with rTMS. However, research suggests that left and right-handed people improve equally from rTMS.

Yoga & tDCS have both been shown to improve cognition. Yoga has been shown to help mental health. tDCS stimulates specific regions of the brain and can improve its functioning.
We don’t know whether tDCS and yoga amplify the positive effects of each.
