Gosh, something to encompass the whole medium...as cliche as this is probably GTA 5 or RDR 2, depending on if their film genre preference. It's not quite encompassing what games can be but it's a very good "first game" since they're so cinematic.

Destiny 2 probably. It's my current MMO of choice so it could sustain me for 50 hours a week, especially since I've got 2 other very neglected characters.

People need to chill the eff out with "Destiny is going to die" posts, the amount of times that Bungie has supposedly been in a do or die position is too many for me to think it's actually do or die anymore. If they could survive Lightfall, they'll survive anything.
