Yeah, this is what I’ve been telling my friends who voted for Jill Stein in both 2016/2024. If they want to break the two party system, it has to start at the local and state levels and grow from there. It’s insane to try to create that change straight from the top.

Yeah, I definitely think the Republicans have more to lose if we move to RCV but I would not be shocked if a decent amount of Dems end up opposing it as well. I hope I’m wrong!

This doesn’t surprise me. Rank choice voting would allow third parties to possibly become viable and I can’t imagine Democrats or Republicans being okay with sharing power.
