Two years ago, I discovered a love story hidden within Scott’s last Antarctic expedition—between two of his officers, Pennell and Atkinson. They survived the tragedy which took Scott’s life and shocked the world, but further dangers still lay ahead for them.

Proposals will open tomorrow! On May 31, 1911, Edward Wilson gave “a very interesting lecture” on sketching, explaining his methods of rough sketch and written colour record, and how to manage cold fingers! Do you, have a specific subject or talent you want to share with us?

7 days until proposals open! During the Terra Nova expedition's winter lecture series, Scott was somewhat disappointed by Frank Debenham's geological lecture, calling it "elementary." But we promise we won't be disappointed by your topic – we're excited to see what everyone has in store!
