It’s like 10 hours. I don’t want to say too much. I guess I’ll just say that I don’t think it’s going to blow your mind. But I am glad I played it. This would be a game for me right now. I’ve actually considered replaying it.

My big one is Expedition 33, though to be honest I don’t think I’m going to get to it for GOTY season. Life is too much right now.

I’m so curious about your thoughts on Wanderstop. I don’t think you need to be into cozy/farming games.

Congrats! Glad but not surprised to see Sword on this list. Yes, where is Expedition 33 and Hades II? I know this was never going to happen for such an indie release but I would have loved to see @lena.fyi’s Beastieball get its flowers too: such a fun listen.

I literally went on Bluesky just to see what you two are doing for Halloween. Bravo! Love it!

Safe travels! My student Lex House and I are looking forward to seeing you soon!

Moonglow Bay is running WAY better on my desktop and I managed to get past the first boss. I’m so relieved. We were really enjoying the core gameplay. This is a reason to have a “skip X” accessibility option, at least for casual games. I really appreciated this about @awaceb.bsky.social’s Tchia.

That’s awesome. I loved the art, music, and narration of this game.

This is so cool. But I’m in Canada, and so this would presumably be subject to tariffs…

As someone who has been thinking about this for a lot longer than I have, do you think the essay is dead? Should we focus on alternative forms of knowledge demonstration that make AI less useful (reflection, creative work)? Or should we try to reduce the fear through ungrading-type principles?

Omg! I’m going to that! So excited to see you in person!

Doing some sidewalk chalk with my kids today…

My kids will be spreading the word about these indie games to the 3 and 6 year olds. They loved these stickers so much that I just barely managed to keep any for my own collection.
