A husk if a woman
My favorite part is the allegation that someone was “sharing instructions on accessing immigration courtrooms.”

Oh, they told people how to enter a public government building? Did they also tell people to bring a Real ID or passport and to leave time to go through a metal detector?

Nefarious!

It’s heartening to see that they’re making progress! I was worried we could end up in a situation where railroads slow-walk the phaseout just to ask for additional extensions.

There seems to be a slight gap between how the NYT and other news agencies are covering the anniversary of Franco’s death.

It’s also not just a matter of politics, but of justice for victims. “A terrible thing happened to children but I don’t give a shit because I don’t think I’ll get votes out of it” is not an attitude that is going to win anyone over.

“As a 44-year-old woman who would always rather pick up a book than a game controller, I recently decided to dive into this foreign world for myself.”

Definitely best person to do a deep dive on this!

They also laid off the staff who provided that “unique editorial identity,” but I guess that wasn’t in the press release. bsky.app/profile/lexi...
I was laid off from Teen Vogue today along with multiple other staffers, and today is my last day.

certainly more to come from me when the dust has settled more, but to my knowledge, after today, there will be no politics staffers at Teen Vogue.

In a month they’ll be back to their classic NYC coverage: writing about the Hamptons, or wringing their hands about DEI because a rich charter school guy doesn’t like it.
