Director at nimtim architects. Adoptive dad to two annoyi… I mean amazing children. Mostly telling dad jokes and moaning about being an architect.
The question isn’t so much was he a fascist (almost certainly yes) but is he still one? And if you’re not sure yet then you haven’t been paying close enough attention.

I also enjoyed Hyde Park which is a bit like a forest with the trees spaced out a bit. It’s a nice time of year just before the canopy appears so the trees still feel a bit like figures which intermingle with human ones: something I tried to capture here with an ancient oak in the foreground.

Went to see the Guiseppe Penone exhibition at the @serpentinegallery.bsky.social last week. I loved the drawings of undergrowth made from natural dyes and the trees cast from steel holding up rocks are 🤯

The spirit of mid-century British Social Democracy lives on in the foyer of the National Theatre where people come to work and meet with no obligation to buy anything and free WiFi! There are teachers marking coursework, a roleplaying group, a playwright brainstorming a new play…

Had a great meal at Lahore kebab house yesterday. I think my favourite thing about that place is how what you order is just a ‘concept’ for what will actually get brought to your table. Incredible creativity from front of house.
