Off shore wind in the north sea is on course to provide 45 gigawats. A nuclear power plant produces 1 gigawat. 890,000 houses. The power from the north sea going south will be worth roughly £1.2 trillion, every year. And we pay some of the highest electricity bills in Europe. We are being mugged.
