Antisemetism is a danger to entire nation, and like any other hate should not be tolerated. That said, I genuinely can't understand why Jewish Nationalism is good, but Christian and White Nationalism are bad! I think the agreement on ugliness of ethno-nationalism is the first step on this fight.

As I understand it, teachers’ unions opposed reopening schools even after teachers were vaccinated. Isn’t that right? That stance went against the interests of working-class families who couldn’t afford private schools, which stayed open. Not sure what is your objection.

I am amazed Democrats hasn't suggested law's to criminalize violation of individual rights for anyone involve in it at every level. If you are an ICE member breaking into a citizen's house with probable cause, you should be individually responsible.

To be fair, beside WSJ and couple smaller publications like unherd, most "mainstream" right wing media, Fox, NewsMax, etc. are worse than Carlson show, journalistically. Carlson serves truth better than even himself working in Fox, though has become even more radical.

I hear him, and like his acts, but disagree with him! As long as they don't suck up to the government and its crimes, that's fine. SA can't become another Norway over the night, and as long as it creates a good experience, why not?!

Solidarity with unions makes sense as long as they show solidarity with other workers. Looking into many examples, police union, teamster, teacher union during covid, ... you realize they too live in neoliberal era: they represent narrow special interests. They act as shareholders of a company.

US already has a system like that: companies applying to H-1B should pay 5K to federal gov. One could expand on it. 5K was set in 90s if I am not mistaken.

به عنوان نقد نکفتم، توصیف واقعیتی کردم که خودم هم همون احساس رو دارم: این ایده که فرهنگ همه مهاجرین معادل همه‌‌ه و می‌شده از همه‌شون یه تعداد آدم آورد، تجربی درست از آب در نمیاد. به محض اینکه خواهان هر محدودیتی برای مهاجرت باشی هم برچسب ضدمهاجر می‌خوری.
