Happy hear your experiences on different platforms, whether you're a creator or a reader!

Setting up a shop should not be complicated operation but takes some hours, so I wish to make an well-informed decision on the platform. So that I don't have to repeat the process any time soon. 😁

Another option (or maybe even an additional option) is to sell via Patreon. I have a page and a modest followership there, so it's an attractive option for me as a creator to start selling products in addition to monthly memberships.

Tbh in my case, the first lifestyle was the result of debilitating anxiety and avoidance of the real world, while the second one is a result of healthier decisions.

But I still wonder, what could I achieve if I just focused on comics for some time...

I'm not sure which lifestyle I prefer, to single-mindedly focus on one thing and make it really good (my BSandL era), or to experience different facets of life and spread my energies all over the place.

😮‍💨 Phew it's been quite long since the previous update of the comic.

I feel I'm switching between my interests a lot - and while it's nice to have multiple hobbies, it's impossible to dedicate much time and attention to any one of them.

Synopsis:

After dropping out of university, Lissa's determined to become an artist on her own terms.

Too bad that her bestie wants a roommate who can afford rent and makes her get a real job!

Lissa finds work in cleaning, and that should be a suitable job for an introvert... Right?

Really! I did a little research on tablets for drawing some time ago and it seemed like iPad is the only one worth to even consider, so thank you for sharing this!

I guess the price is the greatest issue. An iPad will cost hundreds of euros even if it's second-hand.

I can afford it, but what if something comes up and I'd need the money?? I'd be so bummed if I'd spent it on something so frivolous!!

I've rediscovered my love for traditional drawing, so I've been filling sketchbooks when I'm away from home or too fed up to sit at the desk.

But some things I prefer drawing digitally.

Was a good day!

I started to read Charles Dickens' Two Cities (Kaksi kaupunkia) - the style and language are delightful (I'm reading the Finnish translation) and it feels like a mystery story, so if you'd like something a bit different and set on 1700s, I recommend checking that out.

I hope similar relationships and engagement will form around my new webcomic In Suitable Conditions.

It's quite a different story to BSandL, but if you liked my storytelling style in BSandL, you may like ISC too!

I can say that working on the comic is similarly thrilling for me. 😙
