Going through my field recordings is fun because it brings back the memories of the time I spent in the field.
For the hoverflies I searched with the intention to record them, trying to understand more about hoverfly sounds.

Finally I can deliver some cat content. Today I met these two European wildcats (Felis silvestris) and recorded some of their very interesting and unexpected noises. What a fantastic field recording experience.

What a fantastic year, with great field recording adventours.
From lecturing, festivals, sound effect libraries, music, game audio, advertisments and talks / discussions to science I was able to approach listening from plenty of different directions.
Now enjoying some quiet days with a new book.

I recentley updated my Harvester Claas Lexion 530 Library to UCS naming.
It was lots of fun walking next to the blades, driving on board and vainshing in the sound of freshly cut wheat in 2018.
