Even though there are countless music players out there, I still haven’t found one that fits my needs on my laptop.

So, over the last couple of days, I couldn’t hold myself back and started building my own in my free time.

Maybe - just maybe - I spent most of that time on the visualization.

The tax program fatally crashes on the file picker dialog whenever I navigate to a folder that contains a file with non standard ASCII character in the name.

It seems the development team practice #shipfastandbreakthings haven't used a software that's that buggy for a year now :)

Asset creation is one of the most time-consuming parts of being a solo game developer. But a party game without different characters wouldn't be much fun. Here's my first attempt at two simple stylized characters.

After 2 days of technical improvements to our web based party game including full k8s deployment, it was finally time to create the first character prototype.

I am still learning the basics of the 3D art pipeline for game assets, so bear that in mind.

I've recently made my third or fourth attempt to create a 3D renderer from scratch, this time using Rust and the Vulkan API. I've progressed further than in any previous attempt, managing to load and render a custom 3D shape and implement basic Phong lighting on the shader side.
