Hey lovely people @zed.dev ! Just recently switched from Cursor to Zed and am loving it so far 🫶. One tiny detail I just noticed and thought I'd send it over, is that with slightly longer branch names I can't seem to find a way to see all of it at once … is there something I'm missing?

Giving actionable advice has a lot more to do with the receivers circumstances than only with your wisdom.

Just upgraded the self-built meeting summarizer (Audio Hijack > Whisper > Claude API > Notion) to send native Mac OS notifications when errors happen or when the job is successfully completed.
You can check out the code here: github.com/nilsborg/…

OMG blown away right now … with my digital friend Claude, I was able to implement a pretty snazzy caching strategy using Deno KV (their edge key/value store) and properly set http caching headers including ETags 🎉

Find the code here: github.com/nilsborg/…

Uhhh got a deployed version of the site on Deno Deploy: nilsb-org-r97z19fs1sc7.deno.dev  — pretty cool!
Now I just have to figure out how to handle content updates/caching.. #deno #fresh #indieweb

Man typescript drives me nuts sometimes … the handler function in Deno Fresh gets the data, has the right types applied and then in the function to render the page, types are “any” for the data coming in from props … grrrr

uhhh while standing in the kitchen to start prepping dinner for the family I thought “hmmm I really wanna try Deno Fresh and it would be awesome to just grab posts from Notion …”.
Sooo let’s do it! Starting a hack session! #deno #fresh #indieweb

One of my favorite UI fails in Mac OS is the fact that the “Eject” and “Erase” options for any external media are directly next to each other in the context menu … 🫠

Frozen lakes are a spooky thing no? Everything’s so peaceful when it’s so cold, no movement anywhere but still you know that you don’t know how thick the ice is or how deep the lake is.. very moody all in all :)

Huuuiii everything’s frozen over here (Offenbach am Main, Germany) and I love it! 🥰 So peaceful in the forest during my inspirational walks in the morning.
Loving that new habit by the way! I wander around with the camera and sometimes speak with Ai Claude to plan podcast scripts

Amazing sunset but freezing cold -4° in Offenbach, but the sun is shining. 🥶☀️🌄
A day like these I really love my morning walking routine routine just talking to my friend Clau and my phone planning new podcast episodes. This is just really nice mode of working.
