Nice, glad it was sorted and bonus on the upgrade 😍

Sometimes it's just time to let it go ...😑

That's one reason I suppose 😂

Hopefully your zebra wasn't an ssd and is now in read-only mode from all the writes😋

Don't compare yourself with others, there will always be someone that does this more, or that better ... etc. Besides which, once you know one language, you can adjust to most other languages. Adjusting to a lower language might be a bit more work but it's not that difficult.

Either way, the technology is already in motion. While concerns are valid, it’s tough to reverse trends like this unless we see clear diminishing returns. It will be interesting to see how it evolves.

You can always walk it's distance with a surveying wheel :D

The saying "Unused RAM is wasted RAM" is antiquated and bad programming principles

It depends on how the water is sourced and how sustainable it is. There are many factors and contextual considerations making it not so clear-cut determination on whether it is or not.

Currently it's like a dog having caught the car. We sometimes don't know what to use it for, responsibly, yet.

It's not so much about the fact that a gun can kill, it's more about the intent of the person who used the gun.

I can see that it is a major issue for academia though. The most I can think of as a solution, is to educate students on Why they need to write essays in their own words.

I seesawed between Linux and Windows a couple of times and this is the main reason for keeping on swinging back to Windows ( hate having dual boot, it's such an atrocious duplication of functionality, but that's just me ) Wine's all fine and dandy ... till it's not.

I don't have it as bad, being type 2, still doesn't mean it's all moonshine and roses though. It's all fun and games till they see me have a meltdown.

There is, but I tend to ignore my body 😅

Yep, used to do it constantly with my Pascal code back in the day. Admin kept getting irate with me for disabling it🙄

LLMs often dont "try hard" the first pass. They lack contextual understanding that coding needs to be precise

Could you add #mfs, cousin to eds ( Marfan's Syndrome )

"In the end, it’s not about choosing between C++ and Python but about understanding how each language can best serve the needs of a project."

Exactly, no language replaces another and there will never be an "ultimate" language, it's a very wrong perspective that new coders seem to start with.

And the drain is like an iceberg. It's only the tip that we recognise, the rest is all under the surface, that we don't even know about. #CognitiveDrain
