Entered a phase where I’m having a hard time getting into video games, but Astro Bot is the one game I can reliably have a good time playing

If you must use FB, use the “Feeds” view so you only see stuff you follow (+ ads) and not all the garbage suggested content that is poison. Unfortunately there really isn’t a FB replacement for me. Nowhere else is there textual posts from my friends & local community. I have reduced my usage though

If AI/ML upscaling has low enough latency for video games (e.g. DLSS), it can done for TV/movies, & even old hardware like NVidia Shield TV Pro is capable enough

I want CRT emulation features built in to 4k TVs. I still use 1080p / 720p plasma TVs which is close to CRT & low res content looks good

Had to check if Nano existed in 1999, and it was actually created in 1999 but was called TIP (recursive acronym "TIP Isn't Pico"). Renamed to Nano in 2000.

You have to install the plugin to enable the AI feature, so doesn't force it on you. Same for web browser feature. I've tried others, but just keep coming back to iTerm2 because it works well. I gave ghostty a serious try, but was surprised to find it to be buggy for me.

I’m the kind of sicko who microwaves leftover steak at 10% power level so it doesn’t cook more, just warms up

ChromeOS can already run Android apps. I wonder how this will be different.
