I live in Chicago and am superannuated in comparison to you. In 1996, 14 people in our precinct voted for Bob Dole. My husband and I became obsessed with finding out who these fools were and would whisper to each other on the street: “Do you think he’s one?” “She’s gotta be one!” etc.
