Hamilton for sure.

Come From Away and In the Heights are also amazing.

I really like the source-of-light effect on the shield and hammer! Never managed to get something to look like that.

I'd pick Keegan-Michael Key any day

Last but not least, I finished reading Blindsight today. I really liked a lot of the ideas in the book, especially around consciousness and evolution. But I don't really like the grim dark setting and the metaphorical prose that's hard to follow, especially in audiobook form.

Slow Productivity by Cal Newport really disappointed me, because I really like his other books that I've read. The arguments are weak, the practical advice isn't really helpful, and the examples are baffling.

Not Till We Are Lost is the fifth book in the Bobiverse series and it's exactly what you'd expect - it's a feel-good page-turner with snarky engineer humor. I wish this series had more satisfying climaxes though.

The Will of the Many has a great story, an even greater atmosphere and superb prose. *Every* scene is just so tense and wrapped in layers of lies. Awesome.

Every Tool's a Hammer, This is How You Lose the Time War, and Ball Lightning were all kind of meh. Not bad enough to quit but not very good either.

The highlight of this year are the last two books in the Three Body Problem trilogy. They are among the best #SciFi books I've ever read.

My son got diagnosed as autistic this year, so the first two are autism related nonfiction books and the third is a fiction book with an autistic protagonist.

If you're in a similar situation, Uniquely Human is a good choice IMO. I Will Die on this Hill is mostly meta, about autism discord.

It is! I think the key part is that you can't use your phone while you're doing it 😅

While I don't like the downgrading, I doubt Twitter makes this decision without an insane amount of analytics proving that it's better for their bottom line. Your gut feeling is probably wrong.

We actually already had our first session a few days ago!
Four PCs - Wizard, Fighter, Rogue and Druid. Started off with The Wolves of Welton by Winghorn Press. It went well! Two players completely new to the game, one with some experience and one forever-DM who I was most anxious about :)
