I think theres a difference in levity in a dark situation- indomitable human spirit and all that- and jokes making light of how serious the situation is. Like, characters sharing in humor and warmth in the blackest of nights is different than a fart joke undercutting a serious emotional moment.

But anyways. I want what they have.
