‪I guess 306.5b is the better point of comparison for 714.3a — 306.5b gives PWs an intrinsic ability of "this permanent enters with N counters", while 714.3a just says sagas enter with counters‬

The last point may not be true depending on how they implement the change. e.g. if they change 714.3a and 714.3b to grant intrinsic abilities to the card, then Saga would enter with no counters under moon (and saga creatures under dress down).

😔 glad that hasn't happened to me yet since swapping to the sticker

heading back to boston now but final thoughts are that overlord main is pretty good

0-2 cutter again in r8
misnavigated g1 a bit I think and got punished for a sketchy adarkar wastes keep in g2

2-1 cutter in r7
lost a very grindy g2 to cat finding enough answers for scrollshift, won g3 with overlord scrollshifted twice

certainly dead for t8 but may play the last 3 rounds depending on what friends are up to

1-2 nightmare mu dimir mid r6
g1 maybe misplayed my last turn, g2 t1 pierce duress into voice + beza beats, g3 misstepped again (really getting punished for never playing with this card before)

0-2 fastest cutter player in the room r5
died to rage rage g1 (burst burst also does it iirc) and probably made a couple missteps in g2 (like playing my minor misstep as land for turn by accident 😅 and then not misstepping vacuum)

2-0 the mirror again r4 otd
g1 opponent t1 entombs and I manage to eventually combo by bouncing a lockdown repeatedly with one of his dragonstorms under to deck him (no founding), g2 won with thundertrap+voice+3/3 omni beats

2-1 the mirror r3 (vs a friend of a friend)
the player otd won 2/3 games, opponent with t1 entomb in games 1 and 3

2-0 the mirror r2
otp for g1 and had voice + kinda sketchy t4 vs no t4 for g2

R6 ✂️ otd, g1 ripped abuelos at 1 life for t4 omni but op had 1-of pierce, won g2 with beza, floopy, and regent. g3 otd missequenced counterspells and let a stock up resolve, then couldn't find a lockdown in time. Out at 2-4! The list is pretty good I think but my gameplay today wasn't the sharpest 😔

R5 vs ⚪️⚫️ 🧚/👹, g1 pierced a nightmare but had a painland draw and died to pixie 2x preacher beats, otd was 1 turn slow for dragonstorm -> abuelos. g2 played a grindy rest in peace game and ended up dying to second annex + soulstone (should have taken 2nd doj off of stock up vs duress), 2-3 now

R4 ✂️, g1 scrollshifted lockdown twice, once to eat two cutters and draw towards land 4 and once to counter a floodmaw, g2 pierce didn't line up well vs slickshot and died quickly, g3 op playing a bit too scared and conqueror was able to clock them. 2-2!

R3 ✂️ again (with 4 🐦!) g1 triple verge vs 1-lander, make a 3/3 omni and missequence a bit after unlocking blue mana but rip stock up off the top for the win. g2 lockdown on 3 instead of hold up pierce for t4 ral and die, g3 op stuck on 2 lands, but got a bit flooded with 2 dead abuelos into vacuum

R2 ✂️ — g1 attack op down to 8 with regent and draw a couple too many lands to close out (maybe could have cast the omen instead). g2 op on 5 though my hand is quite good anyways, and g3 op misplays their 1 vacuum and eats omni mainphase, letting me surveil another with dispersal and then combo off
