Cool, send me an email so I start interviewing you. Blue sky is not a good medium for an interview 😕

Fair enough. Two comments. I like your in depth analysis and correlation. I think in the negative modifiers aspect of things you have to take into account the probability of having it.

How come you don't have comments enabled in substack?

Hmm, interesting. I think you are missing the "angry nerd" archetype. Annoyed with the current RPGs they decide to make their own.

You could call it Maustrap
September 27, 2025 at 1:11 PM
That would be cool. Looking forward to it. Also sliced cheese/ham?

3d printing? Foam? Any guides you can share. I'm really interested.

Did you custom build the terrain? Looks awesome

A classic

Thanks for this guide. It's well thought out and pointed out some flawed thinking I had about RPG book sales. I can now understand why Knave 1e/2e and Cairn 1e/2e worked the way they did

Why do you like it? Honest question, mainly because it's so stripped down is almost missing it's core

I feel that percent dice are good for SciFi, because of the probability feel to them. D20 to D4 for fantasy for having various sized things in a bag. D6 for things with bullets...
