It's elk hunting season in my neck of the woods and my son in law was out earlier, he didn't see any elk but he did have a very pretty view nonetheless. The river meandering through is called the Elk River, in the SE Kootenays range of beautiful British Columbia.

That's not a flat bed truck though, this is. I was pulled over by the police (Canada) because my dog was in the back of my pickup, was warned that the dog must be leashed and secured so that he can't jump out or next time there would be a fine, dog rode up front with me after that.
