You’re correct. He does have more say over the public universities and even more over the state colleges. He puts people on their boards, he can make *some* rules about subject matter, tenure, and funding & it is causing a brain drain of professors leaving. 1/2

Patriarchy has taught some women that they are “more special” and given a longer leash. One day hopefully they wake up and understand they’re still master’s dog no matter how long the leash.

It’s the dumbing down of America, which happens to coincide with religion here as well. Over half our population has below a 6th grade reading level and it’s going to get worse with more religious indoctrination in public schools.

While I understand the sentiment, most of our public universities don’t agree with and actually hate the Governor, especially our big four: FSU, UF, UCF, and USF. Our public university cities are some of the only blue cities in Florida and I fear punishing them would give joy to DeSaTan.

They always have been-hence the patriarchy and religion demanding women “be submissive”, keeping us from education, work, not allowing divorce, etc. The greatest lie of the patriarchy is that women have penis envy when it’s men who have womb envy-knowing that we get to choose whose genes pass on.
