This was another good one. Late 19th century maple American candle stand. Came to me with a foot missing on one leg, and another leg that was severely cracked and separated. A new foot was created and attached and the cracked leg was mended. Stain matched and oiled, finished with wax.

Early 20th Century Nichols and Stone Barely Back Windsor Arm Chair in need of repair and restoration. Wanting to keep the original spindles, new joint tips were created for the ends. What a glow up!

Detail from an 1870s stereoview of the Aqueduct Bridge, connecting Georgetown to Virginia. The bridge carried the C&O Canal over the river to Virginia, where it continued down to Alexandria. It leaked constantly. Today a few piers remain in Georgetown and on the Virginia side of the river.
