Then the Sun and Moon designed completely overhauled the entire aesthetic with its rounded and more simplified art style. Which was a bit more of a shock to the system than adding irises (sidebar, he got irises in the season where he traveled with Iris. Someone is funny), teeth, or fingernails.

Honestly, as a dumb kid, I didn't even really pay enough attention to the design. It took me years to notice that Ash gained more detailed irises in his eyes. I remember people joking that he got more prominently shown teeth in XY, though.

Nevermind that he didn't have anything to do with the founding of Tesla or the parts of PayPal that actually work, and just threw money at both until everyone in power said "Okay. Fine. You're the founder". Clearly, he's a genius.
