Labour need to off a different vision of the future - because at the moment we have an anti-LGBTQ+ health secretary, a treasurer pushing austerity and a PM who won’t condemn genocide, kisses Trump’s ass and brags about forcing people from different racial and ethnic background to leave the UK.

Both the Democrats and Labour are responding to the criticism of being “woke” by going to the right - but if being the most right-wing is the goal, then the far-right will beat you in that game every time.

The most popular responses to that tweet are all about how people still think Labour is soft on immigration, and how foreigners are destroying the UK.

And - this is why I think Labour will lose the next election.
