I think a soft boiled egg sandwich with loads of butter and salt is the best version of an egg sandwich. Especially with one or two anchovies in there 😋😋😋

Seriously, how is Crawley still in the team? I know it’s an age-old question now, but how? One good knock every 20 innings really doesn’t merit a place! I get the aggression, but aggressive openers HAVE to have a good defence. Look at Warner etc.

How on earth can anybody prefer pyjama T20 cricket over a test match?! What a wonderful first three days with two more to come!!
Also, how do we get Bethell into this team? Does he open instead of Crawley?! Surely not, but I’m not opposed to it!

After writing 5 ensemble pieces on the bounce in the last 18 or so months, I’m excited to be writing 3 solo pieces!! One for theorbo, one for contrabass clarinet & one for soprano sax!

Very nearly finished my latest piece, ‘Flumina’. This has been a HARD piece to write for some reason but I am VERY happy with it! All based on Gombert because Gombert is the best composer ever!
