More than 1,100 buildings have burned and at least five people are dead in wildfires burning across L.A. County, making this one of the most destructive firestorms to hit the region in memory.

Heartbreaking. 😢 I have so many memories of driving along PCH with my family. It’s hard to see the damage done to such a beautiful place. Thank you and everyone at the LA Times for your work and dedication despite the danger. We appreciate you 🙏🏼

Good point, Bob. Alcohol’s public health impact has been downplayed for a long time, but this is changing, especially as alcohol becomes less popular among younger generations like Gen Z. Do you think there will be a broader shift in how PR pros approach ethically sensitive clients in the future?

As someone who works closely with biotech startups I’ve drawn a lot of inspiration from founders and how dedicated they are to innovation. This year my goal is to be more entrepreneurial in my work as a PR/comms specialist! Always looking to learn from others about how to grow in this field 🙏🏼

Really interesting read and not what I expected. I’m a fan of the hybrid model but I’ve noticed communication gaps between in office and remote teams that can add stress throughout the day. It feels like we’re still figuring it out, but I’m hopeful it will improve with time + implementing feedback
