History buff. Data nerd. Selectively social.
This is great. Best use of the spare cash. Going by that label at the back, their customer service must be lovely!

Seeing how close the field is, there's a better chance of a 2010 Alonso/Petrov narrative than a 2016 Hamilton/Rosberg story. But it is equally true that walking on egg shells could hurt McLaren drivers, exactly like in Qatar, because that's when the racing rhythm is broken and strange things happen.

Alex Palou? Not the most impartial commenter, neither for nor against McLaren, is he?

I know right 😅 The trophy might be an inflatable tube man, with all the "flexibility". The jokes simply write themselves!

This, exactly. The narrative they're trying to craft is like scoring one over Drive to Survive in terms of sensationalism.

Sums up the Twitter-inspired social media in general, like you mention later in your thread.

Whoa, interesting! Thanks for the intro. I'll check out Chris' book.

@waitmanwbeorn.com one day you gotta push beyond your deep research into the Holocaust and write a book on the tribulations of the people of Alderaan or Tatooine. I'd read it. We can also have a session at We Have Ways Fest on the parallels with SWW.

That's an interesting take. Something akin to the double diffuser in terms of borderline legality. Not outside the realm of possibility, to be honest. Wow!

Yeah this is out of left field. TBH it has limited upside and more of a chance to burn both AM and Newey completely unnecessarily. Also, irrespective of age, this isn't a James Vowles to Williams TP scenario either. Vowles was strategy, very different from tech. TP is a highly political role.

Excellent point. This is just feeding it even more. Also it's weird how the "we're going to give it all to get to the top" vision clearly ignores the elephant in the room in Lance Stroll.

My dog is named Moose, so this deeply resonated with me.

Quite disappointing. I thought the "Yes" number would be way higher. Or maybe the respondents were faking it here as well?

Beautiful pictures. I love the Leh-Ladakh landscape. Also what a fabulous shot of the curious fox!

I mean, the Lego car was slow without the need for "lift and coast", and I don't think it had any power steering either. At this point F1 is just roasting itself.

Knowing Ferrari, they would probably tell Massa: "We're reviewing, we'll get back to you."

On the other hand, Briatore would cynically ignore the time machine.

100% agree. Such language often destroys "life as we know it" (which is another one of those cliches that gets on my nerves).
